Does Sleep Apnea Cause Pressure In The Head?

Hello, I have been having brain pressure in my head for several years now. I have high BP and I am borederline diabetic. I also have sleep apnea and sleep deprivation. Can any of theses things cause my head pressure and confusion? I’m so tired of these intermittent moments.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sleep apnea itself causes headache and cloudy mind . Also present like day time sleepiness or dry mouth or sore throat or hypertension or mood changes, such as depression or irritability etc. You have to use oxygen supplementation at night , also use CPAP machine at night. elevation of the neck (not head) to maintain air Passat less obstructive. Use tablet ultracet twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
