Does Slight Increase In Heart Rate Post Exercising Suggest Arterial Damage?
I am a 56 year old female. Resting heart rate of 65. Blood pressure of 100/70, which my doctor says is great. But I walk quite a bit and notice that at a slight incline, and 3 miles per hour, my heart rate is between 130 and 150. This seems high. Does it indicte arterial damage?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Exercise will increase your heart rate, but comes back to basal levels by 30 min after rest. If this is not happening, you need a cardiac evaluation.
