Does Slight Pain In The Foot And Ankle Post Injury A Month Back Require Medical Attention?

I did a cannonball into a pool and hit the bottom on the top of my foot/ankle. It was pretty painful at the time, but didn t seem serious. I could walk, exercise, etc. This was more than a month ago and there is still a very slight pain when i press on the area or stretch a certain way. It doesn t limit my movement in any way.

Hello,

Your symptoms do not indicate any serious damage to the foot or ankle. It may be just local inflammation. I recommend performing regular physical activity and taking magnesium and calcium supplements.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
