Does Smelling A Constant Sweet Smell Everywhere Indicate Migraine?

I have been smelling a the same sweet smell everywhere I go. It smells like maple syrup or antifreeze. I smell it at home or working and I am in different locations all day long with my job. I read that it could be a migraine, but I ve never had that with a migraine before. I also haven t had a migraine since Jan. 5th 2016, which has been a blessing. I was told the older you get it can change, as I am now 48 yes old.
