Does Smoking At Early Stage Of Pregnancy Affects Baby?

I am 30 weeks and 5 days. I stopped smoking when i found out I was pregnant however i did smoke a few days ago not that much jus a little at a time. I do not plan on smoking anymore will it be out of my system by the time i deliver, or what can i do to clear both of our systems jus in case baby comes early?

hello and welcome,
Smoking does have deleterious effects on the baby. It narrows the blood vessels depriving the baby of nutrients. It also leads to lung problems and low birth weight. So please do not do this again. Even passive smoking [ you are in the same room and another person is smoking so you are exposed to smoke] is dangerous.

Please abstain from smoking for the sake of your as well as your babies health. You have already resolved to do it. I am sure you will not do it again. Think of the baby the next time you feel like lighting up. Smoke particles in the lung cannot be removed. So just stop it now and do not think about it.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Have a safe delivery and a healthy baby.
