Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doctor. So I did 2 preggo test...negative. We ll, end of May I got my period which was 2 weeks too early. Now it s July still nothing. Went to GP today and the tested me again. Still neg now they want to do a blood test. I have all the pregnancy symptoms. What should I look at... Like vaginal discharge..tingling nipples...I was also wondering since I smoke does that have anything to do with the low HGC levels?
Usually it's not interferred with smoking and is very sensitive test but sometimes levels tend to increase late and not detected in urine. But with two occasions of negative result with this much duration apart, pregnancy is less likely but for reassurance blood levels of HCG and ultrasound pelvis may be done.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
