Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does Spotting After 41 Days Of Amenorrhea Indicate Implantation Bleeding?
41 days after last period ended. I spotted one single time one day, the day before I was due to start my cycle. If I get some bleeding it always turns into a full cycle. This has never happened before. Could this be implant bleeding? I stopped taking the pill 17 months ago. I have been trying to get pregnant ever since.
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that it may be implantation bleeding . But to establish that you should first get a urine pregnancy test to confirm your pregnancy. Implantation bleeding can happen around 4-5 weeks after conception. But any spotting after that period during pregnancy can be a cause of concern. So I would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist for further evaluation. She may perform a pelvic sonography to confirm your pregnancy. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
