Does Steroid Injection Affect Platelet Count?

I had a steroid injection in my shoulder on Thursday. I wanted to find out will this injection affect my platelet count? I have Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura. I am going to the hematologist tomorrow to get my platelet count checked and I want to know if the injection will affect my count?

in thrombocytopea you will ve low platelet count. take view hematologist if advised then steroid injection can be avoided. what is the problem for which you have to take steroid can take nasid and manage with physiotherapy.
