Does Stomach Pain Below The Hip Area Suggest Hernia?

Hi I have been told by my Dr I have hernia ....I do not believe this to be true ....I ve been suffering from stomach pains just below my right hip for months I ve had bloods urine tests scans and sti checks all have came bk negative ....what else could I ask for to find out the problem

Hello. Welcome to HCM. I have few doubts to ask. When you cough you feel sever pain at a area. if that is there when coughing if you hold that area with palm, did you feel a swelling coming out or just coming hitting you and going back. Did you say abdominal scans are normal. If the answer for any of my questions is yes. then it is hernia. Please get an appointment from a surgeon and take treatement.
