Does Stool Turn Black After Drinking Lemon Juice With Warm Water?
Hello, I started taking a tablespoon of lemon juice( or a little more) with warm water each morning for the past 8 days and now my stool is almost black!
I take blood thinners and lipitor each day.
Is this normal?

Hi,
Lemon juice can not cause black stool.
As you are on blood thinners medicine, it is likely that there might be having some bleeding in your GI tract giving rise black stool.
Go for,
Stool test for occult blood.
Ultra sound abdomen to find any problem in GI tract.
Go for PT- INR.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
