Does Subsiding Of High Fever, Post Intake Of AKT4 Tablets, Take Long?

My brother aged 42 years has been diagnosed having Tuberculosis in Lymp node. He is taking AKT4 tables for the past one week. Even after taking drugs for ONE week he is having fever upto 102 deg F.Please may I know when the fever will totally subside..

AKT -4 (Rifampicin+INH+PYRAZINAMIDE+Ethambutol) is the drug of choice for lymph node tuberculosis .
Once tuberculosis diagnosed and treatment started ,it take 10-15 days time to subside symptoms ( means fever ) .
In your brother case same thing is happening , so need not to take any tension , wait for another 5-7 days .

However for time being your friend can take PARACETAMOL 10 mg / kg body weight for 3-4 times in a day for 4-5 days or till fever subside.
