Does Sudden Withdrawal From Rexipra Cause Any Side Effects?
Hi I am having gastric problem and my dr first gave me Rexipra 10 mg but after using it for 2 months I had problems like disturb sleep nightmare confusion problems in dicision making so my dr said that I should stop using Rexipra 10mg and start using Paxep CR 25 mg my question is suddenly stopping of one medicine and starting new one will have side effects or not and I have come to know that Paxep CR 25mg has the same side effects as Rexipra 10 mg
From your description, I am of the opinion that sudden withdrawal from rexipra (escitalopram) will not cause any such side effects because you are already moving onto other anti-anxiety medication. In its absence, it would have caused withdrawal symptoms. Prexep Cr (paroxetine) is a controlled release tablet will thus cause sustained level in blood at any given point of time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
