Does Suspicious Densities In The Upper Lung Field Indicate TB Considering Heart Is Not Enlarged And Pulmonary Vessels Are Within Normal Limits?
Good day Doctor! My x-ray report dated January this year says: "There are suspicious densities in the upper lung field. The heart is not enlarged. The pulmonary vessels are within normal limits. The trachea is in the midline. Both hemidiaphragms are sharp and distinct. The osseous thoracic cage reveals no significant bony abnormality."
Does this already indicate that I have TB? Please advise.
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It has just mentioned that there are suspicious densities and this is not a proof for it to be tubercular. The better test for tuberculosis should be a sputum test for AFB.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
