Is Tuberculous Lymphadenitis Contagious?

Hi i am 21 years old i was diagnosed with tb lymphadenitis before a week i am taking tb drugs i dnt have any previous history of pulmonary tb but its said that tb lymphadenitis is due to reactivation of post primary infectn and hematogenous spread . is it possible that tb bacilli are still in my lungs and is it contagious through my saliva?

Hello. I have gone through your question. Tb lymphadenitis is not contagious. It is a form of extra pulmonary Tuberculosis. It cannot spread from one person to another. It has nothing to do with previous history of pulmonary TB. Just keep taking your Tb drugs on time and everything will be fine. Thanks and Regards.
