Does Swelling And Pain Upon Pressure On Arm After Injury Require Medical Attention?

I hit my arm on a counter today (in my medical terminology class, believe it or not), and it s about six hours later, and I just noticed that the area I hit is very hard and a bit swollen. It s tender to the touch, and it hurts with pressure, but I see no visible bruise. It s just a normal thing that is going to bruise over, right?

yes, in my opinion if pain and swelling after hitting your arm with some hard object , could cause underlying hematoma?
and you are feeling pain on pressure
so I would suggest to go to some ER near to your place and see your doctor
