Does Swollen Lymph Node Indicate Cancer?

I am a 44 year old female. 5'9" , 114 lbs. Have been ill for about a year. Extreme fatigue, muscle spasms on left side of body and behind neck. Difficulty walking due to the stiffness. I am seeing neurologist for possible MS. I noticed a swollen lymph gland under my ear. IT has been there for over a year and is now itchy and tender. Could this gland indicate cancer?

Hi..thanks for using Health care magic. As per the symptoms you tell, I suggest you to continue the investigations for neurological disorders. For lymph node enlargement you just have to take FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) of the lymph node to see whether the swelling is reactive or neoplastic. After all these reports you can proceed further. Thank you
