Does Taking Adderall Affect Levothyroxin S Effectveness?

I am taking levothyroxin for subacute thyroiditis. Today my doctor prescribed Adderall for my ADD and he thought I can take them both together upon awakening. He didn t have time to find it in his PDR. If I take the Adderall at the same time as the levothyroxin will lower the effectiveness of the levothyroxin?

Hi,

Keep a gap of 4 hours between both drugs. Yes, they can interact but take as doc prescribed to you. Drink more water and take salads and fruits with antioxidants like amla, aloe vera, basil etc. For your thyroid problem, learn breathing exercise along with meds. It prevents 70 percent relapse too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
