Does Taking Amoxicillin During Pregnancy Harm The Fetus?

I just found I am pregnant and I been sick with stomach flu and cold and I didn t even know I was pregnant just found out and I also been on amoxicillin 875 for three weeks and been taking cold medicine also I am hoping that baby is ok but I ain t sure help think I maybe misscarry

Amoxicillin is considered a pregnancy category B drug by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It means that, in animal studies, there were no reports of harm to developing fetus from amoxicillin.

This drug is considered to be of low risk when a woman takes it in any trimester of pregnancy. Hence, Amoxicillin is safe to be taken during pregnancy.
