Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does Taking Clomid And Hyponidd Together Cause Any Side Effects?
I have been taking clomid and hyponidd for two months now but still no sign of pregnancy. However, i have realised my cycle has changed instead of 28 days now 30 days. What could be the cause? Also what are the benefit and side effects of taking both clomid and hyponidd together?
Clomid contains 'clomiphene', which is a non-steroidal fertility medicine. It is used to cause ovulation in women with certain medical conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
There is no adverse interaction noted by taking the two preparations together. Change of cycle with plus or minus 5 days can be considered as normal.
Treatment in such conditions like PCOS needs to be continued as recommended with proper follow-up. Sometimes, it may take a little longer time to conceive and hence you need to wait patiently.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashakiran S
