Does Taking Codeine And Guaifenesin Together Cause Stomach Ache?

I have taken codeine and guaifenesin 100 -10 for a cough. I was wondering if this could make my stomach ache. It has a burning feeling and I also have fever blisters since I started taking this. The dosage is 2 teaspoonfuls every 6 hours as needed. I took Pepto Bismol to try to sooth my stomach, but it didn t help much. I am trying yogurt now.

As per your history is concerned for cough this combination is wrong so there are many other formula which you can take .Secondly check whether it is productive or non productive cough .Take medication for cough as well as try to find the reason behind the cough.
Investigations needed-
Full blood count with differential
