Does Taking Cordyceps, Losartan And Lovastatin Together Cause Any Drug Interactions?

I am taking cordyceps orally at bedtime to cleanse liver toxicity and take amyloid besylate, lorsartin and lovastatin 40 mg as well. Are their interactions I should know about? I see slower clotting can be a side effect and I m taking 3 capsules of Omega3 daily as well. Need I cut back?

Hi,

I have to tell you that most supplements are not very well-documented regarding their interactions with drugs. Cordyceps in particular is considered to be safe but its interactions have not been studied adequately. Amlodipine, Losartan, and Pravastatin can be used together without any serious anticipated side effect. The omega-3 supplement is safe as well when used according to instructions. I don't see the need for cutting back on any of them. If you ask me I wouldn't prescribe Cordyceps or omega-3 as their effects are not well-documented and there are indications that they are not working as previously thought (at least for omega-3).
