Does Taking Doxycycline Monohydrate After Consuming Dairy Products Cause Any Side Effects?
Hi I am taking Doxycycline Monohydrate and I was told not to eat any dairy an hour before taking medication. well I had about 1 tablespoon of sour cream and cheese and took my pill right after. I forgot that I could not eat dairy before taking the medication. will this cause any major issues or reaction?

I think taking doxycycline with dietary products makes it less effective. You can take it two hours after a meal.
