Hello,

Since you have a history of PCOS, you should first get it treated. Duphaston and folic acid, help to treat various menstrual problems including PMS, painful irregular periods, etc. My cyst regulates ovulation & menstrual cycle in PCOS. These medicines help to treat infertility. Ideally treatment of infertility includes treatment of both the partners. The woman has to go through few Blood & Imaging (HSG, Hysteroscopy, Laparoscopy, etc) tests. While the man also has to get few Blood tests & semen analysis done along with hormone tests, sperm function tests, genetic tests, testicular biopsy, etc. You are suggested to get PCOS treated & infertility treatment done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
