Duphaston is a hormonal drug and can be taken during pregnancy when prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken during first trimester in case of suspected progesterone deficiency or spotting during early pregnancy. But Glucophage contains metformin and this diabetic drug should be avoided in pregnancy since it can cause fetal defects. Instead only insulin should be used in gestational diabetes.Hence continue Duphaston and stop Glucophage.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
