Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Excedrin contains Acetylsalicylic acid/Caffeine/Paracetamol and it is used for analgesic and antiinflammatory effect in migraine pain, tooth pain, pain in joints, myalgia, dysmenorrhea, neuritis, and other constant pains. You can take it for knee pain, during or after a meal, 3-4 tablets daily. You should not take it for more than 5 days continuously. There are many anti-inflammatory treatment options that can be used for more days such as Naproxen+Codeine phosphate.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata
