Does Taking Metformin Help Treat PCOS And Delay In Conception?
Hiii, i m 27 Years old, and married from 7 months. I m suffering from PCOS from three years from that time i m taking METFORMIN. Does only metformin helps me to concieve or i should take any other medicine to get pregnant. I also read about clomiphene and oosure, does these medicine helpful ? Please guide. Regards Surveen
If you are still not getting pregnant with only taking Metformin then you should consider seeing a local fertility doctor. Of course the other medication you mentioned are the next steps to treating infertility. But you need to first figure out where the problem is, see if that problem can be treated differently and then proceed as needed.
Clomiphene is a drug which helps ovulation happen so can help only if in your case the problem are lack of ovulation. If the problem is in your partner sperm or you have any other problem, then Clomiphene or Metformin cannot help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
