Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I few weeks ago I experienced diarrhea. I needed to get on a plane so I took 3 pills of over the counter anti-diarrheal medication. I was all cramped up during the flight, and all day (but it was better than having to deal with going on an airplane). Afterward I had several days of discomfort and semi-loose stools. That has mostly gone away (the loose stools) but but I have been noting pain in different parts of my abdomen. I am very overweight, and suffer from degenerative disks and pinched nerves. I take percocet a couple times a day. I wonder if that could be developing the pain that persists in my abdomen. If so, is that dangerous? Should I be going to my MD to have them check for some kind of internal damage?
Based on the history it looks you have got some gut infection. In fact, loose stool along with pain abdomen indicated possible infection. When it's not very severe, and consists of many days, this is a typical story of giardiasis. I think you should get a stool examination done. Percocet is unlikely to cause pain in tummy though it can cause constipation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
