Does Taking Prilosec Cause Any Side Effects?

Do you know anything about the side effects of prilosec and how long they last? They are severe and i know the drug is 95% irreversibly protein bound with a covalent bond, which is why it doesn t get excreted normally with its half life. How long does it take to feel better from its side effects?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering about side effects of prilosec . Well there can be many side effects like severe stomach pain, diarrhea , seizure , kidney problems , nausea and headache . But the side effects can be minimize even to zero when taken right dose for appropriate period . So i would suggest you to consult your doctor for right dose and time period in your best interest . In case you counter any problem doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute .
