Does Taking Regestrone In Pregnancy Cause Harm To The Fetus?

im 29 years old and my weight is 50,weight 155cm, my last period is date is April29 but still i didn't get my period so went to Doctor and done urine pregnency test, result was negative so my doctor sugested to take regestrone 5mg tablet for 8 days,but in case if i pregnent means will this affect my baby

i advise you go for sonography if you have still doubt about your pregnancy.
