Thanks for raising your concern on this platform and following is are recommended guidelines:

1. subtex [buprenorphine] is an opioid [narcotic] medication used to treat narcotic addiction and may interact with other medicines [narcotics-sedatives-tranquilizers-muscle relaxant] which you might be taking and as a result may slow your breathing and may cause serious side effect like dark urine, clay colored stool, jaundice, stomach pain.

2. It is to be remembered that since these clinical trials are conducted under varying conditions, thus adverse reaction of subtex cannot be compared to another narcotic drug or the one given by Doctors in their respective practice. Thus seek an opinion of your doctor for medical advice about side effects or you may report side effects to FDA [food & drug administration]

3. Since effect of buprenorphine last longer than other narcotics thus it is usually prescribed in single dose [once daily] and since it causes rise in T3 and decrease in T3RU and free T4 thus it is important for your doctor to know about any other medicines [herbal/complimentary] which may interact with subtex to produce any unwanted side effects.

4. So if interested to take subtex then take it under strict medical supervision which will help you to stick with your treatment and if you suspect you had an overdose of subtex contact your doctor or go to the emergency department near your house.
