Does Taking Bath During First Three Days Of Period Lead To Swelling In Uterus?

Taking bath during first three days of periods time can lead to swelling in utereus and can be harmful during pregnancy? My friend told that its dangerous for ladies to take bath during this time. It may stop the flow after taking bath. Please guide.

Taking bath during menstruation is not harmful in any way.
Taking bath does not reduce the blood flow and it does not interfere with future pregnancies in any way.
In-fact it is very essential to take bath and maintain hygiene during menstruation.
Lack of hygiene may lead to infections during menstrual cycles.
Thus, I suggest you to maintain your hygiene during this time with regular bathing and cleaning.
You may educate your friend regarding importance of maintaining hygiene and not to believe in myths and false beliefs.
