Hello, welcome to health care magic. Yes, contraceptive pills could cause pimples as a side effect. You could benefit from applying a gel containing clindamycin phosphate in the morning and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide/adapelene combination at bed time. If gels are not bringing acne under control, You could take oral doxycycline or azithromycin after consulting a dermatologist. Drink lots of water and have a healthy diet. Avoid fried foods and foods high in sugar content. Hope this helps you. Take care.
