Does Tenderness From Acidic Diarrhea Cause Bleeding From Anus?

I have had Diarrhea for almost a week now, however my last Bowel movement was constipation, The diarrhea was very acidic and caused burning around the anus, I gave up on my most recent BM about halfway through (I got about half of the fecal matter out), and wiped. The big issue lies here; When I was wiping, I found a few drops of blood on the toilet paper. It was bright red and quite obviously fresh blood. Should I be worried? Could the tenderness from the acidic diarrhea cause this?

Additional info: I am experiencing very minor pain in the abdominal and hip area, but this started after reading symptoms of different possible causes online, and i have felt very anxious since discovering the blood. (I am a known hypochondriac) And I think my mind might be creating false symptoms due to anxiety (not the first time my mind has done so)

I am 17 years old and male.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
There is nothing called as acidic diarrhea, it the infection in stool the excoriates the perianal skin to cause the rash, edema and fresh bleeding on wiping.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get the stool tests done and if there is an evidence of intestinal infection you need to get a treatment from your Doctor after clinical examination with an antibiotic active against intestinal infection, Metronidazole and probiotics.
ALso clean the perianal area with warm water and do not wipe hard.
Take multivitamins to get early healing.
If there is no improvement with this treatment then you obviously need further clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of colonoscopy, biopsy, tests of stool and blood to decide the cause and get treated accordingly.
