Hi Sir/Madam I am 30 yrs old and had a Rat Bite 2 days back. When I consulted the doctor in my place they told that it will not cause any problem and gave me a tetanus injection. The wound is healed now but I got fever today. Please can you suggest me if is it is due to rat bite or tetanus injection and what measures to be taken next

Hi,

Tetanus injection cause no fever, it may be due to the rat bite. Check the wound again, if it is swollen or red or painful, seek medical advice.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
