Does The Area Become Tender, Painful And Feel Nauseous After Lump Examination?

I need help. 51 yrs old female. Had breast cancer 16 yrs ago right side. Have found huge lump under armpit, very hard, I feel nauseous. Images were performed 3 days ago. Became very nauseous after the sonogram, and, the area became very tender and painful. Is this normal after such procedure. The lump is located deep within the armpit.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.Sonomamogram if the most non invasive, inexpensive imaging we have.
2.It could be a coincidence or mild increased in pain / discomfort after the scan since it was touched - the symptoms will get in to normal with in a day.
3.With a past history of Ca Breast, the lump in axillary region seems like lymph nodal enlargement.
4.Suggest followup scans, and a biopsy of the nodes if necessary ( if the scan reports suggest)
5.Symptoms you are facing could be seen in any infection / inflammatory process.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
