Does The Darker Positive Lines In The Test Kit Mean Elevated HCG Levels?
I had a 3 day embryo transfer on June 16th. My first blood test on Thursday 3rd July came back with a low hcg reading of 241. I have another scheduled for Monday 7th. I have been doing home pregnancy tests and the positive line is getting darker and darker. Does this mean my hcg is increasing? I have had no pain or bleeding thus far. Is it possible that this will be a viable pregnancy or should I just accept the worst?
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. In the current scenario, your chances of retaining the embryo seem to be good. You need serial serum beta-hCG titres along with a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route to clarify. Doubling titres every 2-3 days indicate positive outlook. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
