Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi,
I was riding my scooty and a street dog tried to bite me on the lower part of my left leg (just below knee cap). I was wearing jeans so even though there are tooth marks on jeans, there is no wound on skin. But there is slight itch/ skin scratch feeling. Is it required to take the rabies vaccination? I do not think I can trace that dog.
Age 50; Location Hyderabad.
