Does The Following Blood Test Report Suggest A Possibility Of Thalassaemia?

Blood report indicating Prdominantly normocytic normochromic with macrocytes and ovalocytes. MCV 106.5 ref range 83.0-101.0 Hemoglobin 13 MCHC 28.2 ref range 31.5-34.5 RCD width-SD 59.8 ref range 39.0-46.0 RCD width(RDW-CV) 15.1 ref range 11.6-14.0 Iron 46.1 ref range 50-170 Does this means Thalassaemia?

Hi,

It doesn't suggestive of thalassemia. In thalassemia there is low hemoglobin and peripheral smear shows microcytic hypochromic picture with target cells. It suggestive more towards Vitamin B12 deficiency.
