Does The Frequent Urge To Urinate Indicate Urinary Tract Infection?

Hello I was wondering if I had a uti? I will sometimes have the frequent feeling that I have to urinate but it s not all the time. My symptoms developed yesterday. I also had my 21st birthday party yesterday and don t know if the alcohol would have any influence on that? I have also wiped a couple of times and there is a light pink tint to it but not all the time as well

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Burning micturition and increased frequency of urination are chief symptoms associated with urinary tract infection.

Kindly get your urine routine examination done along with urine microscopy.

Kindly consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
