Does The Hair Removal Cream Hinders The Treatment For Pubic Lice?

Hi I am using a treatment for pubic lice (crabs) it is my first treatment and the active ingredient is Malathion 0.5%
I am leaving on overnight as my doctor suggested but I forgot to ask another question before I left.
Once I wash off tomorrow, would using a hair removal cream to remove hair from my pubic areas hinder the treatment, help the treatment, or neither, I wish to do this anyway and I just want to check I am not hindering treatment. thank you
