Does The Intake Of Doxycycline Hyclate Cause Delays In Menstruation?
i am 16 yrs old and was prescribed doxycycline hyclate for my acne..its been helping with my acne but the only problem is that i havent started my period and its been 5 days late so far..so what im asking is what does doxycycline hyclate do to a female's menstrual cycle?

Its side effects are very common as nausea , vomiting , light sensitive rash , diarrhea and staining of teeth in
There is no scientific studies that docycylin in any form interfere with menstrual cycle of female .
However you mentioned two things a:
1 Acne
2 Delay in menses .
Yes these two may be related ( co-related ) , so I recommend you consult gynecologist and get his opinion and ultrasound of both ovaries.
