Does The Pain In Lower Abdomen Move Upward Having Diagnosed With Endometriosis?

I always had endometriosis but luckily had my 2 children but after having my son had to have a d and c after 2 weeks bad infection made me very ill. Have never had my periods back but always get debilitating pain which makes me lose a few days each month. Diagnosed with ashermans as well as the endometriosis only last year at a london hospital. My problem is that the pain each month has moved up from just being my tummy and my back and is also under ribs. I have had this for 14 years, was offered surgery last year but was told as I,d put up with it that long maybe just wait for the menopause, which is what I am doing but am worried about the pain moving higher
