I have graves disease and had radioactive iodine treatment 6 months ago. I am currently on 100 dose of synthroid. Is there an increased risk in using ecstasy while on synthroid or does the synthroid act as a normal thyroid now that it's being treated?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have grave's disease and treated with radioactive iodine. Synthroid contain levothyroxine. It act as thyroxine produced by your body. It is just a hormone replacement therapy. So continue with it according to advise. Repeat your T3, T4 and TSH level regularly and adjust the dosage accordingly. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
