Does The Teeth Recede Or The Gum Swells In A 7 Month Old?
My 7.5 month old central incisor came in at 7 months, a week later the other one came in. It seemed to be taking longer to to be seen easily and now it has "disappeared" almost completely. The lateral incisor is starting to poke through beside it. Can teeth recede? Or is it the gum swelling? Is there something I can do to help him? He isn't interested in the cold teething rings.
Hi, Thanks for asking. In my opinion your baby must have had gum swelling as it is not possible for a teeth to recede. It is very common for the babies to have gum swelling during the teething. You may try giving him commercially available food neds for babies with a vegetable or fruit like carrot or apple in it. I hope i have answered your question.
