Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 1 year old daughter has had a fever since yesterday morning. It is running around 100.2 area. It is relieved with tylenol, but continues to reappear. She also woke up this morning with red blotches on her cheeks. Her appetite has decreased but is not an issue since she has a g-tube. She doesn t appear to be teething and acts like her whole body hurts.
This probably a viral illness. If she is otherwise active and playful, we need not worry, just continue Tylenol 3 times daily for 48-72 hours. Hopefully she will improve by then.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
