Does The Testicles Become Sore Due To Flu & Cold?

Hi, I had unprotected sex a week ago, the person I slept with swears they are clean, however now my testicles are a bit sore. I've also had a terrible cold/flu at the same time however and I'm wondering if the sore testicles could be caused from the cold? Thanks very much

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that you had unprotected sex with someone who swears that she is clean.
Now that you have sore testicles and also had cold/fl.
It is not known to have sore testicles due to cold/flu.

Hence I would advise you the following:
- Send the urine sample for culture and sensitivity.
-Tests of blood for routine as well as STD panel.
- Ultrasonography of the scrotum and abdomen for genito-urinary system
- Examination by a General Surgeon or an Urologist for clinical evaluation and to start you on proper antibiotic treatment after the urine sample is sent .
