Does The Uterus Being Tilted Backwards Cause A Problem To Conceive?

Hello doctor, i am a 28 year old woman married since 4 and half years. Me and my husband have started planning for a baby from this month. Last month when i went for a gynecologist check up, my doctor said that my uterus is slightly tilted backwards . But she said there is nothing to worry and its natural and that i may continue with my with my panning . However i am little worried about it. Will this affect my fertility anyways? Will it delay my chances of getting pregnant? Very much worried. Please advice ...

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

No, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. It is simply an anatomical variation. Your chances of pregnancy are not reduced.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
