Though hypothyroidism is one important cause of infertility, when treated properly this will not be a problem in conceiving. There are so many factors responsible for not conceiving. Quite often infertility may be due to defective sperm. Hence semen analysis of your husband should be done and appropriate treatment should be given if there are any defects. You must also should undergo a battery of tests. Considering your age, i suggest that you must consult an obstetrician at the earliest.
