Does Thyroid Report Means I Need To Show Thyroid Specialist?

Got my blood work results for my Thyroid the results was as follows:

Thyrodi Peroxidase Antibodis (50810
Thyroid Peroxiase - 147 Units: IU/ml Range:
Was told by one doctor the results are normal and by another that I need to see a Thyroid specialist. Please advise your option.

Hi,

From the results I think your thyroid function tests is normal and thyroid antibodies are increased. This show that you dont have hypothyroidism now, but is at risk of hypothyroidism.

I would suggest you to have your thyroid function tests done every 6-12 months and start on treatment when your TSH start elevating above normal.
