Does Thyrox50 Daily Cause Physical Imbalance?

Dear Doctor,

I am 50 years old. My weight is 58 kgs. Height is 4.9fts. For the first time i.e. 4 months back when I checked my TSH level was 104 and my doctor advised me to take thyrox50 daily. Two months back when I checked, the TSH was 3.6 only. However doctor advised me to continue with same dose. Now sometimes I feel physically imbalanced, what is the reason?

Hello dear user.
Thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.

You will need regular blood tests to check your thyroid levels.
Pease tell me : when was first time that you diagnosis with hypothyroid?
In your first chek up TSH was 104 ng/d and after 4 months…
Can you tell me after 4 moths that you stop tab your TSH WAS 104???. (Thyrox is usually lifelong)
Before my advise I have more questation :Did you have other desease?
Are you taking other medicine (interactive wih levothyroxine)
Are you after thyroidectomy?
You must to know that the most of case :Treatment with levothyroxine is usually lifelong.
The normal rang is after 4-6 weeks from treatment with Hormon Replacment Therapy.
After 2 months your TSH is 3,6.May I know and the Ft3 and T4 levels?
Did you have done thyroid scan?Ultarsound of thyroid glang?
You are taking thyrox 50mg/kg and TSH is normal.3,6.
Your concerns is that you feel physically imbalanced!?Can you prescrtiption me please how you feel?
Are you feeling irregular heartbeats , headache, tremor etc?
My advise is to check a blood test (thyroid-stimulating hormone [TSH] test) to make sure you have a normal hormone level.
One way to control the hypothyroid and your symptom your doctor may suggest you try the combination therapy of T3/T4 medicine .
I suggest to consult with your docter continue to take the tablets/medicine unless your doctor tells you to stop.
Hope I was hepfull.

Kind Regards
Dr,Klodiana Poshi
